William’s dad could not stop his son from playing video games. As soon as he wasn’t watching William, he would be back on playing away. William’s dad decided to fix the problem permanently. He grabbed his hammer and solved the problem. William could not play anymore, however, William’s dad could do so. What did William’s dad do?

Solution

William’s dad used the hammer to install a shelf high up on the wall. He placed the video game console and the controllers up on the shelf out of William’s reach; however, William’s dad could still reach them.
